Engines assemble answers from sources. distinct domains appeared across this run — which ones, and who owns them, decides who gets named.
What a probe is. One prompt asked of one engine. prompts across surfaces gives probes. Visibility is the share of those in which the company was named or its site cited.
Growth markers. Arrows compare the selected run with the previous run and with the baseline (first run). Percentages are relative change; “pts” is the absolute change in percentage points. Green is better, red is worse — for average position a lower number is better, so a fall shows green.
The prompt set is fixed. It stays the same every period, because a percentage only means something against a stable denominator. If the basket or the engine set ever changes, the page says so next to the comparison.
Share of a tracked set, not of the market. Rank and share of voice are against the competitors chosen for this programme. Adding another would lower the percentage without anything changing in reality, which is why raw counts are shown alongside.
This is not a ranking guarantee. It is a measurement, and the input that decides which pages, comparisons and technical specifications get built next.
